Alginate & plaster
Here I have made some alginate moulds for plaster and latex prosthetic pieces. I started by measuring out a 2:1 ratio using two cups of alginate to one cup of water and I left to set for about 15 minutes.
I mixed the plaster and the water together evenly and poured into the alginate moulds and created some different plaster pieces shown below.

Face casting using Mud-roc
To create a life cast of my face I cut up different size strips to go on my face. I applied an even layer of Vaseline to protect my skin and make it easy to release the mask.

I checked before making the mixture to see if my hand would fit right in the container.
